While living in Seattle, the weather really got to me so I forced myself to get outside. I cleaned out a corner of our rental's backyard. We're talking diapers, cans, toys...not sure why everything got dumped there. I threw a few seeds out, and they grew! It was the birth of this gardening earth mama. I went back to school for landscape horticulture and have been a landscape designer ever since. My original degree is in Communication Studies and now I want to combine the two skills and share my 20 years of landscaping knowledge.
